Job Posting Title: Project Manager Level 2 – PSRN – Financial Management

Duration: 12 months
Level 2 Project Manager required to lead the procurement, contract and vendor management components of the Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) initiative
Requirements:
• Support and manage multi-year and in-year reporting and approval cycles
• Prepare project budget forecasts, and expenditures that can help senior management with decision making
• Manage project financials, cash flows and statements, ensuring all transactions are well documented
• Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
• Examine financial documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
• Reconcile financial discrepancies as they arise and prepare asset, liability and capital accounts
• Write business cases, briefing notes, and develop presentations at steering/executive level
SKILLS:
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to identify issues and managing risks for large complex enterprise wide projects
• Project financials and financial reporting on budgets, forecasts, expenditures
• Working experience in multi-year business financial planning, business cases/modelling, cost management, cost benefit analysis, KPI tracking and reporting
• Financial modelling to simulate financial scenarios
• CPA designation/degree in Finance preferable but not mandatory
• Experience managing executive relationships and dealing with senior executives across multiple organizations
Mandatory Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience
• Financial education and/or certifications desired but not mandatory
