Location: Toronto
Duration: 1 year
Role Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Work with the QA team to identify technical requirements
• Managing project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
• Budgeting, forecasting and Project Reporting Platform such as Clarity
• Identify issues and problems and generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
• Develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
• Interacting with senior leadership, specifically STO’s
• Create project documentation such as:
o Project charters
o Budgets
o Contingency plans
o WBS
o Change requests
• Liaise with STO’s to clarify project requirements and field potential points of pushback
Must-Have Skills:
• 5+ years of experience as a business PM working within a technology team/on a technology initiative
• Strong knowledge of the SDLC and testing life cycle
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to liaise with both stakeholders and STO’s effectively
• Ability to work within tight time constraints
• Proven track record of delivering projects within budget, on schedule and within scope
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous experience in an FI
• Previous BMO experience
• Experience working on an automation testing implementation project
• Background as a QA or BA could be useful
Interview Process:
• Round One: phone interview, with HM
• Round Two: in person, 60 minutes, with 2-3 team members and potentially a member from the technology team
o No work samples required
o Mostly focused around situational interview questions- what have you done in the past? How would you tackle ___ problem, etc.
