PowerBI Developer

Typical Day in Role
• JIRA agile working environment
• Meetings & updates with Scrum Masters
• In charge of creating PowerBI dashboards
• Must work with the business side to ensure reporting needs are met
• Ensure documentations are translated correctly into reports
• Demo the dashboards to the business side and know how to provide mock-ups

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 5+ years of experience in Data Analyst or Reporting Analyst role
2) 5+ years of hands-on experience with PowerBI or Tableau
o PowerBI server experience is a must
o 3+ years of experience with PowerBI DAX skills
3) 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL databases & server deployments
4) Experience working with agile work environments

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Previous FI/Banking experience in North America
• Project planning experience

Soft Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills used to relay information to the various stakeholders on business & IT sides

Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or applied mathematics
