Requisition Title: Middleware Specialist – Level 3 – Middleware Support (.NET SDC SharePoint Support)

Duration: 6 months
Our public sector client is looking for a Middleware Specialist – Level 3. The Middleware Specialist (.NET SDC SharePoint Support) will complete the following activities:
- SharePoint 2010/2013 Support and troubleshooting:
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of the Enterprise SharePoint environment as follows:
- Pro-active systems usage and capacity monitoring of the Windows Servers that make up the Enterprise SharePoint farm
- Assessing and testing Infrastructure changes related to the Enterprise SharePoint environment; participation in release promotions and implementations
- Troubleshooting and resolution of Enterprise SharePoint Service Tier 3 support incidents
- Review monthly report cards, vendor remediation reports and creating and executing
- implementation plans to address findings
- Management of SSL and PKI certificates
- Troubleshooting and resolution of complex application solution integrations with other environments including the .NET SDE
.NET SDE Operational Support
- Participation in deployment and release (CRQ's) related to the .NET SDE platform
- Troubleshooting and resolution of .NET SDE Tier 2 and 3 support incidents and problems including complex integration across the various technologies supported within the .NET SDE and Enterprise SharePoint platform such as:
- IIS
- Dynamics CRM
- Biz Talk
- Host Integration Services
- Universal Access Gateway
- Threat Management Gateway
- SQL Server
- SQL Server Analysis Services
- SQL Reporting
- System Centre (Operations Manager, Virtual Machine Manager, Configuration Manager)
- Troubleshooting and resolution of .NET SDE Tier 2 and 3 support incidents and problems which include complex network integrations to both internal OPS and external 3rd party service offerings
- Backing up the .NET SDE operational staff in the proactive monitoring, operations of the environment
Defining and developing a windows support guide for internal staff members for cross training;
- Define and create documentation for each of the following deliverables which will be the tools used to train internal support staff in the support and troubleshooting of the Windows Environment
- Contribution of knowledge records for support team to the office knowledge base
- Prepare a presentation that provides a overview of the Windows physical and logical environments and the areas in which our office supports the MTO Windows applications
- Train internal staff members in the support and troubleshooting of the windows applications
- Training of current technical staff in monitoring, troubleshooting and support of the Windows environments utilizing the presentation and support guide created above.
