Java developer

What you will do: • Improve and/or develop features to meet user needs by designing solutions, resolving problems, producing estimates for the work to be completed, programming, testing, debugging, and documenting them. • Develop Java applications and services in an Agile mode. • Be involved in the developer community, participate in continuous improvement, and promote best practices. • Work collaboratively with QA and business analysts. Required: • Bachelor's degree in computer science or any other combination of experience and related training deemed relevant. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java/REST API development. • Bilingual English/French. Assets: • Guidewire certifications. • Experience with the SAAS version of Guidewire. • Experience with Guidewire version migrations. • Experience with Guidewire Billing Center. • Experience with Spring. • Experience with Cucumber, JMeter. • Experience with Git. • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence. • Experience integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. • Experience with Agile development. • Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry. • Knowledge of the billing/collection field.
