Story Behind the Need
Project: Regulatory and Business Initiatives is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee the portfolio of projects within the GBM Internal Controls Records and Information Management (RIM) Perimeter.
– Phase 2 of a project currently – Phase 1 led to multiple projects coming out as a response
– This person will come in and be the lead PM on the portfolio projects resulting from phase 1
– The individual will be leading from scratch those portfolio projects all around Records Management

Typical Day in Role
– Candidates responsible for book of work and delivery on the portfolio
– Represent GBME and oversee the Technology Delivery of a portfolio of RIM Projects
– Work with the business sponsors and users to ensure the scope and requirements for each of the projects in the portfolio are clear
– Partner with the IC and GBME Application Teams, and GBME Architecture to Lead for any Technology solutioning and architecture analysis needed for the projects
– Support the building of Project Plans, Business Requirements, Testing Approaches, and other artifacts to support a methodical project delivery
– Ensure a disciplined project and systems implementation methodology is leveraged for all Technology initiatives in the portfolio
– Successfully work and collaborate with other Technology teams to deliver the Technology Initiatives within the portfolio
– Ensure clear executive reporting, issue escalation, and risk mitigation for managing the portfolio
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of experience within a similar Technology Delivery / Project Manager position – working with Capital Markets related projects ideally
2) 10+ years of experience working in a financial service, Investment Bank and/or Management Consultancy with strong experience in Regulatory Records Management environment
3) 10+ years of experience with Software Delivery Lifecycle
4) 2+ years of experience with RIM perimeter and functions
Nice-To-Have Skills:
– Some level of proficiency in SQL, Python, and the Microsoft Power Platform or Power BI is a plus
– Knowledge of infrastructure related delivery including voice, email, messaging, etc – demonstrated in recent project
Soft Skills:
– Self-starter that actively engages issues seeking resolution, ability to meet dynamic changes on prioritization
– Excellent communications skills to coordinate with high ranking individuals internally (Sr Manager and Director level generally)
– Ability to manage assigned tasks and expectations without direct instruction or oversight
– Fast, adaptable learner who can hit the ground running
– Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating strong professionalism

– Candidate must have an open mind when it comes to approach, and be able to assess each situation separately
– Must be able to collaborate closely with a team at times, while also being capable of holding themselves accountable to meet individual deadlines without hand holding
Degrees or certifications:
– Bachelor's degree
– PMP, CMMI, Prince2, is a nice to have
