Contract Duration: 6 months (Possibility for extension or Convert to FTE)
Story Behind the Need:
Business group: Business analysis team composed of a number of BA’s that work cross functionally with the banks business groups.
Project: Seeking an IT Business Analyst to help fill a vacancy for time sensitive regulatory projects ongoing at the bank. These candidates will be working on the Consumer Protection Program and provide ad hoc support where needed working with about 1/3 of the banks 45+ applications.

Typical Day in Role:
– This candidate would be an addition to the current team
– The group has about 12 LOB’s that are involved with the current project
– The 2 types of work are disclosure updates and sending customer notification letters 21 or 5 days prior to campaign offer expirations
– The candidate would have work with certain business lines, holding the daily sessions with the business to manage the business side
– Working with business stakeholders to implement and execute
– Monitor internal pipeline and troubleshoot accordingly with the business stakeholders
– Manage critical dates, scheduling, etc and prioritize necessary action items accordingly
– Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
– Monitors cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
– Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
– Supports one or more highly complex business processes
– Works on multiple projects as a project team member
– Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of experience in Technology related Business Analyst Role
2) 8+ years of experience articulating complex technology issues to high level business stakeholders
3) 3+ years experience with contextual architecture, solution design, and capability building
4) 3+ years of experience facilitation ideation to problem solve
5) 1+ years of of experience as a Team Lead
Nice-To-Have Skills:
– 3+ years of experience working in both an Agile and Waterfall environment – to work with the different groups at the bank efficiently
– FS / FI experience highly preferred

– Excellent communications skills to coordinate with high ranking individuals internally (Sr Manager and Director level generally)
– Agile thinker to be quick on their feet

Degrees or certifications:
– Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
