Roles and Responsibilities
• Be able t o design, construct and execute test cases and plans for assigned testing task.
• Able to do both manual and automated testing (End?to?end testing, System integration testing, Regression testing)
• Experience working with JIRA for Requirements ,Test and Defect Management
• Strong experience capturing defect metrics, providing accurate status and tracking
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes;
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
• Hands?on experience with both white box and black box testing;
• Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to create complex SQL queries
• Strong knowledge of scripting (VB script) and XML knowledge;
• Experience working with big data files, processing of large data sets
• Understanding of Process Monitor/ Exception management Technical experience/skills
• Software Development Lifecycle , QA methodologies and Testing Lifecycle experience
• Experience with Waterfall /Agile testing frameworks and different types of testing
• Identify, document and escalate defects effectively and in timely manner
• Integration/interface testing experience
• Advance knowledge of test management software (e.g. Zephyr, JIRA, Confluence)
• Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel and Word)
• Experience testing Client/Server and web based applications • Knowledge of VBScript/Python; Databases (Oracle) and SQL, Unix/Linux
• Identifying risks & escalating issues in a timely manner & providing clear & concise reports to manager
• Ability to query large data sets using SQL or big data technologies
• Help define test data and environment requirements and ability to provide test data inputs

• Ability to read and understand BRD, Use Cases and/or Test Scenarios in order to write test cases
