Business group: Finance team that focus on managing operating expenses for the VP and SVP they support
Project: Seeking a Financial Analyst to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. The candidate will help support the 7-10 transits they support and monitor in their daily workflow. Each person will be assigned 1+ transits to manager, ensuring budgets and everything is intact.

Typical Day in Role:
– The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions
– A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
– Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
– Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions
– Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks
– Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 3-5 years of Financial Analyst Experience – Knowledge of financial accounting, forecasting, accruals, and generally accepted accounting principles.
2) 3-5 years of experience with a good understanding of elements of effective control over integrity and completeness of financial reporting.
3) 3-5 years – Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Products
4) Understanding of financial concepts, specifically accruals – demonstrated in recent project
