ETL Developer/ Talend x 2

Typical Day in Role
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Creating and Supporting ETL integrations (batch and real-time) developed on Talend (software)
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Candidate Requirements/Must-Have skills (5 must-haves)
• 5 + years experience as a ETL Developer, Talend ETL Developer or related field with a minimum of 1 Recent project using Talend
• 2 + years’ working knowledge of Talend to create, execute and manage ETL jobs in Talend
• 1+ years working experience with integrating Talend with Kafka for event streaming
• 1+ years working experience with integrating Talend with Salesforce
• 2+ years’ of recent working experience with Oracle and MSSQL DBs

Nice to Have Skills
• FI experience is a plus

• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with external vendors
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
• Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high-scale project

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
