ERP Functional Analyst

Our client is seeking an experienced ERP Functional Analyst with strong Sage X3 expertise to support and optimize critical business processes across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a functional ERP specialist who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, understanding operational challenges, and translating business requirements into effective ERP solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing Sage X3 functionality, improving business processes, and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise operations. Key Responsibilities Provide functional expertise in Sage X3, focusing on Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, and Finance modules. Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate operational needs into functional ERP solutions. Configure and optimize Sage X3 workflows, business rules, and system functionality. Support integration between Supply Chain and Finance, including inventory valuation, cost accounting, GL postings, and reconciliation. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency. Investigate and resolve functional ERP issues, working collaboratively with business users and technical teams. Participate in ERP enhancements, system testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop functional documentation and provide guidance and training to business users. Qualifications & Experience 5–10 years of experience in ERP functional analysis, ERP consulting, or business systems analysis. Strong hands-on functional experience with Sage X3, including configuration, process optimization, and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing processes. Experience with ERP financial integration, including inventory costing, GL transactions, and reconciliation. Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and ERP configurations. Experience supporting complex, enterprise-level ERP environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related discipline. Nice to Have Experience with Sage X3 multi-company or global environments. Knowledge of MRP, BOM, WMS, and manufacturing operations. Experience with ERP implementations, enhancements, and business process transformation. Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, or IT General Controls.
