Enterprise Agile Planning Product Owner and Solution Configuration Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within an agile team, including vendors, to onboard a portfolio management process and tooling solution
  • Manage and report status of work activities to senior leaders
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of all the capabilities the team provides —from inception and design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation; evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.

Critical Qualifications

  • Experience with Scaled Agile and Portfolio Management in an Agile environment
  • Experience and understanding of working with and configuring enterprise agile planning and portfolio management processes and systems, preferably Planview
  • Effective stakeholder management and prioritization and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to manage and report status of work activities to senior leaders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Possesses a customer centric mindset when building solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) Certification from Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive.
  • Experience configuring JIRA and Confluence areas
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning interface points for time reporting, resource planning, capital management and financials (SAP)
  • Experience with algorithms and data structures.
