Digital Development Specialist
Typical Day in Role:
• Develops or advises the overall framework, strategy and technical design of digital assets, ensuring alignment with learning needs
• Coordinates with designers and developers in the development of digital learning content, and develops digital assets based on wireframes, scripts or storyboards
• Works with HR Services to coordinate program components, ensuring alignment with other parts of a program and assists with testing and deployment
• Supports the development of wireframes, scripts or storyboard for digital assets, including video, e-learning, articles, job aids, etc.
• Utilizes technical knowledge to develop digital learning content in alignment with courses designed by Instructional Designers
• Tracks and reports on training activities and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness; gathers and provides trends and insights to improve/enhance learning experiences to Senior Manager, Digital Development
• Provides end-user support and resolves low risk inquiries and concerns
• Conducts quality assurance assessments on courses and provides trends and insights to Manager, Digital Development
• Provides performance consultation to achieve business goals by maximizing the performance of people and the business
• Monitors digital learning asset and program effectiveness, provides user support, and troubleshoots as required.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 3+ years’ demonstrated experience developing learning content
2) 1-3+ years’ experience with the following tools (specifically used for developing learning and learning asset building, not marketing) are required:
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• HTML/ CSS
• Articulate 360 Rise
• Articulate 360 Storyline
3) 3+ years’ proven and applied knowledge of adult learning theory
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Experience using:
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Acrobat Pro
2) Experience with Vyond or rapid animation
3) Experience in performance consulting for business units
4) Bilingual in Spanish

Education:
• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Adult Education or Business or Digital Communications, or related field preferred
