Story Behind the Need
Business group: Liquidity Risk & Stress Testing: Support, maintain and enhance liquidity reporting in the US and credit and market risk reporting.
Project: The GRT Delivery Manager will be working closely with our US Stakeholders for the implementation of FR2052a 6G upgrade & NSFR. He/she will play a key role on the delivery of the regulatory project.

Typical Day in Role:
• The Delivery Manager is accountable for ensuring that the business needs and outcomes of the project are met as per business case and timelines.
• The Delivery Manager is responsible for the management of the JIRA system which involves the various Systems affected by the project and ensures their alignment with the projects timelines.
• The Delivery Manager is expected to have extensive knowledge of the industry and should be recognized for business acumen by the client set supported. The position requires expert understanding of emerging technologies, project management, JIRA system and life cycle development methodologies and technical architectures pertaining to the area. The Delivery Manager will have excellent skills in relationship and general business management.
• Manage the relationships of GRT BA’s for all systems ensuring project teams are cohesive at operating to common objectives and priorities.
• Ensure Project Change Notifications are raised where necessary and approved. If the scope changes identify impacts to the Sponsor and communicate to GRT Manager.
• Hold GRT meetings and work sessions as necessary to ensure that project management deliverables are met i.e. project planning, risk management, issue management, status meetings
• Motivating the Project Team and maintaining the momentum of the Project against background of changing and occasionally conflicting priorities.
• Ongoing communication of project status, completing the monthly Project Status Reports and escalating issues to the Project Lead as required.
• Ensure the documentation and archiving of project activities, deliverables, tools and findings.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 5+ years of experience as a Delivery Manger within Capital Markets, specifically Liquidity Risk
2. Project Management certificate
3. Previous experience working with JIRA
4. Demonstrated competence in some technical area related to the financial industry and/or information systems in order to understand the working of a specialist’s mind.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Prepare test delivery documents for IST and UAT testing
2. Working knowledge of US regulations Dodd Frank – EPS for FBO

• Advanced management and leadership skills sufficient to lead and motivate the team and excellent skills in relationship and general business management.
• Expert team building skills to create and sustain highly motivated groups within diverse and multi-functional reporting units that are most often not within the incumbent’s direct supervision.
• Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to rapidly assess problem situations and creatively develop alternate solutions and approaches necessary to resolve high-level, complex problems. The individual is expected to bring solutions to the table and support an “information technology” part of all business plans.
• The individual requires superior oral and written communication skills and proven ability to: make presentations to varied groups; deal with all levels of line management up to the Project Lead.
• Strong influencing skills and negotiation skills are also critical in order to negotiate with project team members/management to acquire/maintain support and to negotiate priorities with full consideration and awareness of potential impact on business needs and outcomes.
Education:
Post Secondary – Business related field preferred
Must be certified as a PM
