Story Behind the Need: A new project mainly working alongside our clients Caribbean team
Business group: IB and Retail – Caribbean, South and Central America
Project: New process being implemented with international Banking team to further automation processes.

to develop data driven solutions to business challenges. The typical Data Scientist will strategize and identify unique opportunities to locate and collect new data.
Typical Day in Role:
– Identifies unique opportunities to collect new data.
– Designs new processes and builds large, complex data sets.
– Strategizes new uses for data and its interaction with data design.
– Designs, modifies and builds new data processes.
– Predictive, Response, and Propensity Modeling
– Attending meetings and working with digital teams
– Putting models into production
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
– 5 Years of previous related experience
– Previous experience creating Predictive Models
– Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
– Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
– Strong familiarity with Python
– Experience working with Dedupe and other Database environments
Nice-To-Have Skills:
– Independent Worker
– Creative Mindset
– Previous banking experience an asset
Soft Skills:
– Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
– Collaborate with data architects, modelers and IT team members on project goals.

Degrees or certifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
