Story Behind the Need
Summary: The main function of the Data Analyst is to provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc) that enable informed business decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
– Data science- routinely writing and pulling queries,
– Data clean up of Historical loss data
– Working with various stakeholders within the business to resolve data issues
– Day to day problem solving, ad-hoc data analysis
– Building Data Reports
Qualifications/Must Have Skills:
1. 2-3 years of prior coding experience with Python and SQL
2. Expert experience with MS Excel
3. Experience pulling queries, reporting, writing queries, data clean up/data reporting
Nice to Have skills:
1. Working with Credit Data – any credit data experience is a huge plus
2. FI or Banking experience
Degrees or certifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
