Capital Markets – Cloud Migration Specialist

Typical Day in Role
• Migration of all reports from data pipeline to Google Could
• Analysis and development using Oracle and Shell Scripting to understand the data flow and drill down reports and the data pipeline
• Support changing data pipeline due to the GRID decommission
• Analyze existing front office reports
• Working with developers from various analysis teams and collaborate with BAs to aid in the estimation of changes needed to existing reporting architecture.
• Proactively seek out required changes and lead implementation of these changes
• Perform high volume data reconciliation
• Interact with business users (front office and product control)
• Documentation is a central to the role and maintaining project timelines
• About 70% of responsibilities will revolve around Oracle development

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 5+ years’ experience in Unix Shell Scripting (expert level required for detailed & complex queries)
• 10+ years’ experience Oracle and SQL queries
• Advanced Excel data reconciliation (vlookup, formulas, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud architecture (in recent projects)
• Working knowledge of Capital Markets industry and ability to understand data

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Experience in Java and/or C++, so as to understand data flow

Degrees or certifications:
