Story Behind the Need
Business group: AML Risk Client Risk Rating Product Owner – acts as a liaison with business and technology, managing client risk rating and providing solutions for CRR.
Project: The Senior Business Analyst will be part of a team that develops and executes strategy at an enterprise, business line and country level of the bank.
Client Risk Rating is deployed globally across all of the bank’s lines of business: Canadian Banking, Global Wealth Management, International Banking and Global Banking and Markets.

Typical Day in Role:
• Works closely with Senior Managers, Managers, other Senior Business Analysts, 1st and 2nd Line and a diverse set of stakeholders to deliver strategic advice that solves Client Risk Rating related challenges through research, analysis, compelling strategic recommendations, and execution monitoring.
• Supports the day-to-day activities of the Client Risk Rating Solutions in AML Risk ensuring the resolution of CRR incidents, supports post implementation production issues, Business Requirement Documents, User Acceptance Testing and documentation such as elaboration of test scenarios/cases, test execution, defect management, test exit report, post implementation validation, pre/post executive Memo for approvals, updates Share Point repository and IT dashboard updates, as applicable
• Support Oracle Enhancement: Draft documentation and requests, identify solutions required to support processes, workflows, and changes in CRR factors. Includes defining and documenting requirements, testing the solutions, and supporting the team during implementation and post implementation.
• Collaborate with other value streams, AML Data, the models' team, and FCORE (technology) to understand and document the system related issues, resolutions, impact of data issues on models, actively contribute to the resolution of model related data production issues
• Support FCORE and Users in the creation or management of users’ access for CRR Web Tool application and related Audit activities (i.e. Users re-certification process).
• Document relevant issues/problems to be brought forward for decisions to close identified gaps within business lines and operational units, identify best practices, prepare relevant artifacts, obtain approvals, and incorporate information into policy and procedures
• Participate in the stand-ups, CRR Sprint planning, identify action items, Incident reviews, weekly meetings, CRR mailbox monitoring and provide updates as required
• Maintain Volume/Case Management business requirement documentation, JIRA stories, Service Now Incidents review and requirements for current/future releases
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• 7+ years of experience in AML/ATF domain
• 7+ years of experience as a BA
• 7+ years of experience analyzing, designing, mapping and developing requirements
• 5-7 years of experience with Client Risk Rating or Transaction Monitoring tools, preferably within Oracle
• 5-7 years of experience in the technology field, with proven effective execution skills to ensure the successful delivery of testing and requirement documents
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• Working knowledge of AML/ATF Client Risk Rating requirements and current regulatory environment in the Financial Services Industry, an asset
• Should understand Client Risk rating and related methodologies, evaluating, identifying, and escalating issues accordingly
• Spanish speaking an asset
Soft Skills Required:
• Effective execution skills to ensure the successful delivery of testing and requirement documents
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and strategic influencing skills are key requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives, achieve goals, deliver high quality work, meet deadlines, develop strategies in a dynamic and complex environment
• Proven assessment, analysis, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher, in relevant discipline or equivalent
• Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or other recognized AML/Financial Crimes certification, an asset
