Business group: Work with different stakeholders (IB), govern the data to ensure that it is in the right form, and ensure information is being utilized for the right purpose
Project: Project is in the discovery phase, helping with first line defense for FIU

Typical Day in the role:
– The resource is required to do an investigation of the issues impacting Transaction Monitoring toolkits. If the resource is not onboarded, then the start to fixing the issues will be impacted.
– Reaching out to point of concern/ interest, run the sessions to gather information, turn business requirements into data requirements (discovery session)
– Create deep dive sessions with partners, gather requirements, complete documentation, bring back information to the team to determine what is required
– Share requirements with technology partners so they can provide an estimate (time and money) to create solution for the requirement
– Assess what is needed and document on a day to day basis
– Searching database
– Performance measured by: weekly update session with HM, providing feedback about challenges
Must have hard skills:
1. 5+ years of B.A experience with expertise in SQL and Hadoop
2. 5+ years performing complex data analysis and investigation (using SQL)
3. Microsoft Office, Excel, PP
4. Ability to read data mapping documentation
Nice to have hard skills:
1. Fluent in Spanish
2. Power of BI, SharePoint, ServiceNow, HP Quality Centre, Access
3. JIRA
