Typical Day in Role:
• Responsible for oversight and providing Product ownership for all Crypto applications – (Public Key Infrastructure – PKI, Vault, HSM, Big Secret, OCSP).
• Participate in Crypto Key issuance and ceremonies
• Accountable for Change Management and Approvals
• Lead Production query and Incident Support to address key risks and issues
• Responsibilities for the overall operational efficiency and reporting.
• Serve as the initial point of contact
• Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM), responsible for governing and updating Cryptography application portfolios
• Accountable for relationships and performance of vendors delivering products and/or managed services to Cryptography.
• Accountable for producing professional presentations and dashboards
• Responsible for currency of product and services & direct focus on Security and Resiliency of application across Crypto Platforms.
• Management oversight for all Cryptography department projects (internal and external).
• Plan, implement and maintain roadmap strategy and scheduling
• Develop and execute project plans, communication plans, risk plans and management metrics
• Develop, implement and maintain effective processes for standards, policies, governance, architecture and design
• Platform and Environment modernization and optimization
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 3-5 years of experience in a similar technical analyst or related role
2. Strong knowledge of Crypto Products (Cloud, Vaults, PKI, or HSM’s)
3. In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in cryptography, the business area supported, and the principles of supported products, technology stacks, and platforms
4. Understanding of Cloud-based technologies to be able to speak to these technologies in meetings (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud, Cryptography, etc.). Note that they do not need to be experts, but must have foundational knowledge.

• Previous experience in the banking industry

• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver technology based deployments.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential

Best vs Average: The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in cryptography, including symmetric/asymmetric algorithms and standards, cryptographic key management, certificate infrastructures/PKI, appropriate utilization of cryptography in network protocols, and secure coding practices
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• CISSP, CISA, ISSP, Security+ (Certification or in process) – preferred, not required
