Job: Bilingual Creditor Claims Service Representative

Location: Montreal OR Waterloo
Schedule:
2 roles. One to be 8-4 and the other to be 10-6 to provide more cross-country phone coverage. Shifts can alternate weekly or bi-weekly between the candidates. This is fairly flexible.
Description:
This role will be a telephone attendant for our team of claims adjudicators. We process creditor disability, job loss and critical illness claims for major Canadian financial institutions.
Inbound calls:
This role will answer inbound calls. These may be calls transferred from the call centre or may be received directly. The candidate will be trained to answer as many questions as possible based on the information on our systems. If they are not able to address the callers questions or concerns, they will take a detailed message or transfer the call to an available claims analyst or team leader.
Outbound calls:
The candidate will make outbound calls to claimants to confirm receipt of their claims packages.
Following training they will also make scripted calls to claimants asking a series of pre-determined medical questions and recording the answers to form part of the claim record.
