Business group: Global Compliance International Banking
Project: The Compliance Transformation Program is seeking a Business Analyst – Compliance Monitoring to join our team.
Business analysis will contribute to the overall success of the design and implementation of a global solution. The Business Analyst will work directly with Subject Matter Experts and the program management team, collaborate with internal stakeholders, business users, and technical teams/vendors to drive varying processes and deliverables for the Compliance Monitoring initiative resulting in the development of documentation throughout the project life cycle.

Typical Day in Role:
• Support the business needs of the program within the Global Compliance team at the bank
• Provide business analysis and technical expertise for both immediate needs projects and transformation design programs
• Lead, co-ordinate and manage process design workshops with stakeholders from Compliance and Business teams to accurately capture business requirements and processes to facilitate project delivery
• Identify gaps and create action plans – build documentation for activities across countries for corporate functions
• Prepare required discussion documents for process design workshops, communicate outcome to stakeholders and ensure actions/issues are tracked through to resolution
• Support business requirements gathering process through facilitation of data gathering workshops and subsequent translation into User Stories
• Liaise with stakeholders from Compliance, Business, and IT to clarify business requirements where needed
• Analyse existing policies and procedures to identify gaps created by new processes and recommend changes accordingly
• Support delivery of all aspects of UAT through planning, execution and closure for the selected solution
• Understand the complexity of the end-to-end program and successfully complete deliverables
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) Bilingual in Spanish (fully proficient – written & verbal)
2) 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry, ideally with specific knowledge in Compliance Monitoring
3) 5+ years of experience in co-ordination and facilitation of workshops
4) 2-3 years’ experience managing a Project
5) Strong elicitation/documentation in all aspects of requirements and testing
