• Project: Currently working on developing a virtual assistant/chat bot. The main function of an AI/ML Business Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of AI/ML applications.

Typical Day in Role:
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies to implement AI/ML products
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to data scientists and developers
• Prepares analyses and presentations to aid in decisions on product implementations
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member
• Create and monitor dashboards and KPIs
• Prepare reports to provide project statuses
• Attend planning sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, iteration reviews and other team meetings to verify that the output of the team is consistently delivering business value and aligned with the agreed upon commitments
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
• Previous proven experience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau/Power BI, Jira preferred
• Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
• Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Project management skills to handle diverse projects, often simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
• Ability to increase operating efficiency by producing high quality technical solutions
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
Nice-To-Have Skills:
• 0-2 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role
• General understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and previous experience with virtual assistants and other AI/ML solutions strongly preferred
• Previous experience with Google Dialogflow desired
• Knowledge of agile methodology
Soft Skills:
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Best vs Average:
• Previous experience with chat bot development
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, business administration, or related field required
• MBA in computer science, computer engineering, business administration preferred
