UX Interaction Designer

One of Nexus Group's financial services clients is in need of a strong UX Interaction Designer to join their growing team. This individual will play a key role in championing UX practices across the organization, and providing thought leadership to a number of agile development labs.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in planning of new products and features
• Champion UX and ensure the integrity of design solutions across multiple labs
• Conduct ongoing product reviews and user research to suggest enhancements
• Make recommendations to improve user experience
• Contribute to building expertise on Agile/User Experience processes
• Support development efforts in a collocated agile lab setting

Required skills:

• 1 – 3 years working as a Web / UX designer
• Strong portfolio (with clear identification of involvement on projects)
• Expert in multiple UX wireframe and prototyping tools such as:
  • Sketch
  • Axure
  • Omnigraffle
  • Adobe Creative Suite
• Cross-platform work experience
• Experience on Mobile user experience would be highly preferred
• Strong team player with great communication skills
• Must be highly motivated and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment
