General Accountability
The Global Solutions Delivery, Delivery Management Office is actively searching for an experienced Project Manager for Information Risk Management team. 

As part of the Global Solutions Delivery, Delivery Management Office, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing various initiatives to quality, schedule and cost while accomplishing stated objectives. Adhering to delivery methodology, the candidate will be responsible to provide overall direction across various disciplines for successful completion of large-scale programs and projects. 

You’ll join a vibrant and global information risk management practice and Delivery team that works hard to enable and facilitate business while protecting our people and key information assets located in over eighteen countries. This multi-discipline team pulls together a number of specialties forging strong ties between: 
• Information Security and Information Protection 
• Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Management 
• Risk & Control Assessments 
• Vendor Risk Management 
• IS Audit and Compliance support.

Your specific contribution as Project Manager- Risk will see you working closely with the Divisional Information Risk Officer and team for Investment Division and Group Functions. You’ll coordinate the regular reporting required of IRM including quarterly Key Risk Indicators, monthly executive updates, postings, and operational data reflecting team throughput and demand. You’ll own the various tools including databases used to track our performance and progress. 

• Responsible for managing one or more complex or high impact projects affecting multiple business units or divisions. 
• Develop and maintain project plans, resource utilization schedules and budget materials for multiple simultaneous projects and operational activities. 
• Partner with Business Unit Leads to prioritize projects based on the requirements of the organization, the recommended technology solution and the estimated effort and resources required to satisfy both – Project Execution and tracking 
• Coordinate and drive project activities to deliver required functionality on time and within budget. 
• Closely monitor project resources, tasks, risks and milestones. Make course corrections when necessary using defined change control procedures. 
• Provide accountability for the financial management and budgeting process for projects. 
• Provide people leadership across all disciplines of solutions delivery life cycle. 
• Responsible for managing all day to day project activities for a team of individual contributors spanning cross-site locations. 
• Direct activities, assign responsibilities, set expectations and motivate team members toward achieving program/project objectives. 
• Provide input into vendor negotiations and manage vendor within defined contract parameters. 
• Prepare management reports for project sponsor, develop Gating documents 
• Contribute to the development/improvement of project management/departmental processes

How many years’ experience are you looking for? 5+ years experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations. Must convince me that he/she is able to lead Steering Committee meetings, get message across to executives and not be intimated by direct questioning from them and able to answer with poise – Stakeholder management. Dealing with demanding business partners. Strategies dealing with unreasonable requests – Risk and issue recognition, mitigation, overall strategy for dealing with project risks and issues. – A mixture of hands-on experience in agile, iterative, waterfall experience project methodology, being able to execute under each. | What type of background and/or experiences are you hoping candidates will have (including any education or degree required)? No Added comments: This PM needs to be really process driven and have a track record of collecting, documenting and summarizing a large number of diverse business requirements that actually have a technical focus. Again, PMLC, high level budget and high level deliverables will need to be developed, then negotiated with the various IT organizations throughout the company. This PM should have working knowledge of all IT type groups, a good background understanding in application development and must be an above average communicator – sometimes with "C" level executives.
