Group Functions IT provides project, program and portfolio management capability to help execute against strategy for Group Function Division clients. Our Project Delivery Services arm focuses on attracting top talent and assigning them to some of our most complex global/enterprise programs and programs for our corporate clients. In support of this effort, Group Functions IT (GFIT) is recruiting an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to support the phase 2 of Risk Data Architecture project. The phase 1 of Risk Data Architecture project was focused on the Risk data aggregation foundational components that access the existing federated data marts and provide improvements in the accuracy, integrity, completeness, timeliness, and adaptability of risk data aggregation and reporting across all risk classes. Phase 2 of this project will be focused on implementing various risk models used for calculating risk exposures with RDA system.

As Project Manager, the candidate will be responsible for managing the planning, organizing and implementation of complex models and taking the project from initiation through final implementation; which may include identification and securing of resources needed and assigning responsibilities based upon the project plan. The Project Manager must continually and effectively communicate within our organization and with functional representatives. The Project Manager will provide the following: o Project management and oversight in the execution phase of the project life cycle, including the configuration, testing, integration and communication and change management o Build project and process documentation for a sustainable steady state condition To be successful in the role, the candidate will possess not only the experience in project and program management but will possess superior relationship management and people leadership skills. To be successful in the role, the candidate will possess not only demonstrated successful experience in project management, but will possess superior relationship management skills and ability to work effectively in ambiguity. The role is Toronto based.

Important: Exceptional knowledge and proficiency in project management tools, techniques, and systems development methodologies and lifecycles is required. The project will be executed using Agile methodology hence the candidate needs to be a Certified Scrum Master and should have good experience in running Agile projects.

• Highly effective influence, negotiation and collaboration skills with the ability to work across the multiple teams. • Strong financial management skills to establish controls, track resource/costs and provide good business solutions. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels, including C-suite. • Must have proven experience in identifying project risks and issues, and making effective decisions/engaging project team members to develop risk mitigation/avoidance plans. • Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change with a strong awareness and understanding of cultural diversity. • Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including MS Word, Excel, MS Project and MS Visio. • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure. • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. • Understanding of complex / matrix organization. • Has a proven experience with the setup of the enterprise data management system or risk data management system • Has experience with the IT infrastructure and applications setup in the Cloud (MS Azure, SQL, Informatica, QlikView, CA automation). • This also will involve coordination of the information security assessment activities for the above environments Education/Professional Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related fields • Technical background in Finance, Risk and/or IT is an asset • 8-10 years of progressive project delivery experience • PMP and CSM designation • Previous experience using Agile methodology is required • Prior experience managing implementation of Risk Management applications is require. Experience with RDARR implementation will be preferred.
