Help Desk Analyst – Junior 

Start/End Dates: 2/5/2018 – 5/4/2018

Work Location: BARRIE, ON 


Job Description:   

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

– Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email

– Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions

– Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

– Walk the customer through the problem-solving process

– Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

– Provide accurate information on IT products or services

– Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

– Follow-up and update customer status and information

– Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team

– Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures



-1 – 3 years of relevant experience (help desk or field services)

– Experience with and knowledge of Windows 7, Windows

– Experience with PC hardware trouble shooting, including printers

– Intermediate experience with MS Office (Office 365, Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)



– Experience as a Help Desk – strongly preferred but not manadatory

– Experience with a FI

– Experience with Black Berry and Iphone from a support stand point



– Excellent communication and the ability to talk clearly and crisply

– Ability to work independently and as a team

– Attention to detail



– College diploma in computer science, IT or a related field (completed or pursuing)

– Relevant certifications are an added bonus
